ZSM Zoom Stereo Microscope
The Unitron ZSM Zoom Stereo Binocular Microscope features a parfocal twin-zooming objective system 0/6x through 3x. It offers a maximum working distance of 307mm and up to 120x magnification. The unique feature on the ZSM is its light port which permits a fiver optic lightguide to pass through the body and between both objectives for birght and even illumination. This eliminates bulky light sources from interfering with the operation of the microscope.
Zoom Optical Body
60 degree head provides a comfortable viewing position especially for OEM use. The eyepiece tubes have a 52-74mm adjustable interpupillary distance range, each with diopter adjustment +_ 5. with appropriate accessory lenses and eyepieces, the maximum working distance is 307mm and maximum magnification 120x. The magnification range is 1.8x to 120x and field of view from 111.1mm to 1.8mm. Coated zoom prism system 0.6x through 3x is controlled by two graduated knobs on eac side of the optical body. Eyepieces
Paired coated W10x with eyeguards are standard. Accessory W15x and W20x are available. The eypieces are designed to take the same 25mm reticles as used on ZSB, ZST and FSB.Stand
(Stand is the same as used on ZSB, ZST and FSB and will accept the same accessories)
Stand with large flat stage (drilled and tapped on underside to accept accessory transmitted light base). Stage insert plate black/white reversible. Stage clips. Heavy duty vertical support rod 24.5mm diameter with key way (threaded to accept accessory extension rod for long working distances), ring clamp with lock screw.
Arm and Focusing
(The same heavy stable unit is used as on ZSB, ZST and FSB)
Heavy stable support arm with lockscrew to position 360 degree rotatable optical body; with port and adjustable mount to accept accessory spotlight illuminator. Precise rack and pinion focusing mechanism with large knobs and adjustable tension control. Entire are-focusing mechanism with positive acting lockscrew to adjust up-down on vertical post of stand.
