ZSB - ZST Zoom Stereo Microscopes
The Unitron ZSB Zoom Stereo Binocular and ZST Zoom Stereo Trinocular Microscopes feature a parfocal twin-zooming objective system' 0.7x through 4.5x that provides large flat fields of view, crisply resolved. Magnifications are variable by rotating a comfortably located, smooth operating knurled ring, graduated to show different magnifications at a glance. The zoom ration 6.5:1 gives total magnification capability from 3.5x minimum to 180x maximum using appropriate eyepieces and lenses and lens attachments.
Zoom Optical Body
45 degree comfortably inclined binocular eyepiece tubes with interpupillary adjustment 48-70mm, each with dipter adjustment, +_5. Coated prism system. Coated, parfocal twin-zooming objectives, convergent 12 degree angles, 0.7x through 4.5x, controlled by graduated knurled ring. Constant 86mm working distance. (Working distance and magnification may be increased or decreased by accessory lens attachments and different power eyepieces. SEE CHARTS BELOW.) Erect, unreversed images. Body rotates 360 degrees.
Eyepieces
Paired coated High Eyepoint widefield HWF10x with eyeguards. Design to accept accessory reticles. (Total power with Zoom Optical Body, 7x through 45x.)
Stand
Stand with large flat stage (drilled and tapped on underside to accept accessory transmitted light base). Stage insert plate black/white reversible. Stage clips. Heavy duty vertical support rod 24.5mm diameter with key way (threaded to accept accessory extension rod for long working distances), ring clamp with lock screw.
Arm and Focusing
Heavy stable support arm with lockscrew to position 360 degree rotatable optical body; with port and adjustable mount to accept accessory spotlight illuminator. Precise rack and pinion focusing mechanism with large knobs and adjustable tension control. Entire are-focusing mechanism with positive acting lockscrew to adjust up-down on vertical post of stand.

ZST Zoom Stereo Trinocular Microscope complete as described above including plastic dustcover. Same as ZSB only different optical body with vertical monocular phototube 24.3mm O.D.; push/pull lever transfers 100% left-side visual image to phototube. (100% right-side image remains avaialbe for visual ovservation during photography.)
